I want to personally update you about traveling with us, the steps we are taking to ensure a comfortable trip, and our updated offerings to provide ultimate flexibility when booking a trip with us.

We have always provided industry leading, award-winning equipment, experienced and certified guides, and expert route design. Additionally, we have enhanced our cleaning standards for hotel partners and Trek Travel equipment and are adjusting group settings to accommodate for adequate distancing. In addition to enhanced standards on trip, we have expanded our trip offerings and modified our 2020 cancellation policy to provide ultimate flexibility in booking your trip. You can choose your dream trip from our expanded self-guided destinations, choose exactly what trip features you’d like from our A La Carte program, or you can take advantage of the improved private trip pricing on 2020 trips for just 6 people. Each booking comes with our best-in-class cancellation policy that allows for modifications of your booking up to just 48 hours before your 2020 trip departure. Looking to plan your trip for 2021? We’ve recently released our new 2021 dates and expanded offerings so you can start planning your dream trip.

As the situation continues to evolve around the globe, we realize that plans made today may need to be adjusted tomorrow. As always, our trips are guaranteed to run if permitted. However, we must adhere to government travel restrictions and local authority guidelines. Therefore, we are monitoring all trips on a rolling 30-day basis prior to trip start date (or sooner if necessary) and making adjustments. Any updates to our itineraries will be communicated promptly via our website and email.

Trek Travel has made the decision to cancel all European trips through July 31st.

1. If you are traveling before July 31st you have two options:

(a) Switch to another date or destination with no fees

(b) Keep your balance on file for any future trip with no expiration

For trips to North America, Trek Travel is making decisions for all trips based on local guidelines and travel restrictions. We are sending emails to all North American guests approximately 30 days prior to trip start with updated information on the status of your trip.

For all other 2020 trips and future 2020 bookings, we have modified our cancellation policy to provide our guests with ultimate flexibility up until 48 hours before a trip starts.

1. Anytime before 48 hours prior to your trip departure date you have two options:

(a) Switch to another date or destination for your trip with no fees

(b) Keep your balance on file for any future trip with no expiration
