I want to personally update you about traveling with us, the steps we are taking to ensure a comfortable trip, and our updated offerings to provide ultimate flexibility when booking a trip with us.

1. Book with Confidence: We have updated our cancellation policy to provide ultimate flexibility in booking your trip. Since the pandemic started, we have been transparent with our policy providing guests several options, including refunds, if you change your travel plans.

2. Travel with Confidence: We have enhanced our cleaning standards for hotel partners and Trek Travel equipment and are adjusting group setting to accommodate for adequate distancing. We are following guidelines recommended by health officials, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

    As the situation continues to evolve around the globe, we realize that plans made today may need to be adjusted tomorrow. As always, our trips are guaranteed to run if permitted. However, we must adhere to government travel restrictions and local authority guidelines. Therefore, we are monitoring all trips on a rolling 30-day basis prior to trip start date (or sooner if necessary) and making adjustments. Any updates to our itineraries will be communicated promptly via our website and email.

    Trek Travel has made the decision to cancel all European trips through 2020.

    For trips to North America, Trek Travel is making decisions for all trips based on local guidelines and travel restrictions. We are sending emails to all North American guests approximately 30 days prior to trip start with updated information on the status of your trip.

    For all other 2020 trips and future 2020 bookings, we have modified our cancellation policy to provide our guests with ultimate flexibility up until 48 hours before a trip starts.

    Anytime before 48 hours prior to your trip departure date you have two options:

    (a) Switch to another date or destination for your trip with no fees

    (b) Keep your balance on file for any future trip with no expiration
