What I Love:

I am driven by nature and the opportunity to move & breathe outside. I always feel closest to God in those moments. Backcountry skiing, fatbiking, xc skiing, trail running & laughing are at the top of my list.

2003 (the very beginning)

My Favorite Ride:

Each winter, Highway 20 closes over the Washington Pass in the North Cascades. As the snow melts, and the snowplows clear the road, there’s a weekend bike ride up the pass while it’s closed to vehicles. It’s a fun challenge to ride in the American Alps –the closest thing to the Italian Alps (the Dolomites) that I can find—and the proximity to unfettered nature is amazing.
