Meet Sarah Edwards, Trek Travel bike tour guide

Sarah Edwards

What I Love:

I love being outside, human powered adventure and especially "type two fun". I'm addicted to long, gnarly days out on the bike and exploring the highest mountain peaks and lowest desert floors. My passion for fresh air, open space and new and exciting views always keeps me looking for the next adventure.

Riding with TT Since:

2018

Trek Travel Role:

Guide

My Favorite Ride:

My favorite ride is Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, AZ. This was the place I first fell in love with bike riding in college and of all the places I've ridden since, this is still my favorite. I love how in the 26 miles climb you can go from the dry desert and cactus groves up to 9000ft surrounded by pine trees (and sometimes snow!) in the alpine forest. The legendary cookie cabin at the top and the long, flowy descent back down to Tucson will always have my heart.

My Rides:

I currently have a Cannondale R2000 circa the early 90's, a Giant TCR advanced and a GT mountain bike. Next bike will be a Trek Checkpoint or Domane for gravel adventures!
