Meet Wouter Alaerts, Trek Travel Guide

Wouter Alaerts

What I Love:

Burning legs, lungs gasping for more air, the heartrate pounding out of your chest and at the same time the clicking sound of going up one more gear: bike racing, I love it! And also skiing, hiking in the Alps, (music) history, Italian food, sunny weather (I am from the North) and espresso macchiato.

Riding with TT Since:

2017

Trek Travel Role:

Guide

My Favorite Ride:

That must be when I'm in the Rimini region at the Adriatic coast, in Italy, where I try to go every year. Smooth roads, nasty climbs, always sunny when I'm there and amazing views everywhere you look. And the best place in the world to stop for a coffee, the piazza Ganganelli in Santarcangelo.

An Emonda SLR and Madone SLR
