Planning For Your Trip

Packing and Weather

During the spring you can expect generally sunny weather with midday temperatures averaging mid 70s (degrees Fahrenheit) during the day and cooling off at night into the 60s. During summer months the sun is out 70 percent of the time and temperatures hit the 80s. It is also when the ocean is at its warmest. During the fall and winter you can generally expect temperatures to average from the mid 60s and 70s, dropping to the 50s as the low temperature. Due to temperature differences between morning and mid-day, we suggest dressing in layers and bringing your cool-weather cycling gear for the mornings in the spring, fall, and winter. We also strongly suggest checking the weather forecast right before your trip so you can pack appropriately. Packing List
