What Guests are Saying
The perfect cycling vacation!
My partner Hal is my best riding companion. So having Trek Travel take care of all the details and be able to ride together in the beautiful rolling terrain between Girona and the Costa Brava was a perfect trip for the two of us. Our charming and knowledgeable Trek contact Juan set us up with our bikes and the absolutely marvellous hotel and all we had to do every day was follow the route on our Garmin 1030's. What's not to like about this?

Your Trip Need to Knows:
We do our best to avoid busy roadways as much as possible, however, urban riding and sections of busy roads are unavoidable for some segments of your rides.
The Catalans tend to eat much later and spend more time dining compared to other Europeans and North Americans. Lunch can start between 1:30 – 2:30 PM and last an hour and a half or longer. Dinner can start between 8:00 – 9:00 PM and can last an hour or longer.
On most days we offer routes on designated bike lanes. These lanes may consist of hard-track gravel, concrete, or pavement and are kept in good condition for road bikes.

The springtime brings green hills, with pleasant daytime temperatures (70ºF-80ºF / 21ºC-27ºC) and evening temperatures 10-15 degrees cooler. The fall is drier and warmer with daytime temperatures reaching the mid 80s. Girona's northern location means that it can be hit with the odd cold spell or rain shower. Light layers and a waterproof shell are recommended. View our View our Packing List
