Planning For Your Trip

Packing and Weather

The summer months in the Pyrenees are typically warm with daily temperatures ranging from the mid 60's to low 80's, and evenings dropping to the mid 50's to mid 60's. When traveling in the mountains it is best to be prepared for variable conditions as weather can change very quickly. We recommend always traveling with rain gear as well as breathable layers to provide warmth when the temperature drops. Packing List

Pau-Pyrénées also has the best shops in the Bearn region. From antiques dealers to souvenirs and from bars to restaurants to haute-couture, this region offers it all.
