Planning For Your Trip

Packing and Weather

Vancouver is situated at sea level along the southwestern coast of Canada. Thanks to its coastal location, the city experiences relatively moderate temperatures throughout the year compared to other parts of Canada. Rainfall is a characteristic of Vancouver's climate, occurring frequently throughout the year. Be prepared for wet weather as the city's proximity to the Ocean can lead to swift weather changes. The Day 3 ride to Grouse Mountain, which stands at around 3,900 feet above sea level, might be cooler by several degrees at the top of your climb compared to downtown Vancouver, so make sure to plan accordingly when packing your riding gear.
