The hotel is set in a chalet that dates back to 1894, a time when it was a favorite of celebrities. Ernest Hemmingway is said to have written his autobiographical short story “Out of Season” in 1923 in this hotel. It’s traditional Italian Alpine-style architecture and warm decoration provide a comfortable environment from which you can explore the town center, just a few minutes walk away. It has an excellent restaurant and a quality spa that will be the perfect pairing to a good day on the bike.
