Additional Arrival Information
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the start of your trip, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) or into the regional airport Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) and then take a train to Bolzano train station. From the airports, shuttle busses depart frequently to Venice and Verona train stations. From Venice, you may take a train to Verona Porta Nuova, and then change to Bolzano. The journey lasts approximately three hours. In Verona Porta Nuova train station, trains depart hourly to Bolzano with the ride lasting approximately 90 minutes. Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the Bolzano Train Station (Piazza della Stazione 3, 39100 Bolzano) at 11:00 AM on the first day of the Dolomites Hiking & Walking tour. Please come dressed ready to hike. After a one-hour transfer by private coach, enjoy lunch in Santa Cristina as your guides share details about your upcoming adventures. Once everyone is ready, you'll be off exploring the beauty of the Dolomites.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, Hotel Tyrol (+39 0471 774 100), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. It is possible to take a taxi from the Bolzano Train Station to your first hotel in Selva di Val Gardena for approximately 100€.
Additional Departure Information
You will say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at the Hotel Fanes. You will then shuttle for two hours to the Belluno Train station and arrive at approximately 1:00 PM. Overview
Welcome to the magnificent Dolomites! Your adventure begins at 11:00 AM when your guides greet you at the Bolzano train station. From there, a scenic one-hour ride takes you to Santa Cristina, where you'll set off on your first chairlift ride of the trip. Within minutes, you'll find yourself at Alpe di Seceda, in the Puez Odle Nature Park in Val Gardena, a stunning component of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites. Enjoy lunch in an authentic alpine hut, with breathtaking views stretching from the mountains of South Tyrol all the way to Austria. Afterward, your guide will lead you on an easy hiking trail across meadows to Col Raiser, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful alpine pastures of the Gardena valley. Here another cable car ride will bring you down to our first hotel. This evening, we'll gather at the beautiful Hotel Tyrol grounds for a social hour followed by your first dinner in the Dolomites.

Today begins with a scenic thirty-minute shuttle ride to Colfosco, your first glimpse of Val Badia, where you'll board a gondola for a breathtaking ascent to Col Pradat, at the foot of the imposing Sassongher mountain, where grazing cows accompany us with cowbells over serene green meadows. At the summit, set off on a single-track hiking trail, offering incredible views of the charming town of Corvara below and the majestic Dolomites peaks surrounding us. Look across the valley to spot the Pisciadu waterfalls cascading down the cliffs. After a gentle climb, we'll indulge in a delicious lunch at a cozy wooden mountain hut. The hike back to the hotel is mostly downhill through the Gardena valley, allowing you to fully enjoy the serene landscape. This evening, swap your hiking gear for your finest attire and prepare for a memorable dining experience at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant.

Lace up your shoes because today we’re heading higher! We'll explore the rocks and cliffs you've been admiring for the past three days. A forty-minute shuttle brings us to Passo Pordoi, followed by a quick cable car ride to the Terrazza delle Dolomiti viewpoint—the heart of the Dolomites! Traverse the lunar landscape of Sass Pordoi on a rocky path, and enjoy breathtaking views from Piz Boe before descending to Rifugio Boe for lunch. Afterward, you’ll retrace your steps, taking the gondola back down. A forty-five-minute shuttle ride will then bring us to Fanes Hotel, our home for the rest of the adventure. The evening is yours to relax in the hotel’s wellness area, explore the town of San Cassiano, and indulge in a hearty dinner at your leisure at the hotel.

Overview
Buongiorno! Savor your morning coffee on the hotel terrace, with mountain views that never cease to amaze. When you're ready, a quick shuttle will take you to Passo Falzarego, where you'll experience one of the most breathtaking areas in the Dolomites. We'll start ascending the Lagazuoi mountain range marvelling at the contrast between the lush green meadows and the chalky white rock faces of the Dolomites. With a series of twists and turns, we'll pass through the open-air museum and witnessing WWI history with fortifications, stairs, and tunnels built into the cliffs. At the top, enjoy another amazing lunch before descending to the mountain hut Capanna Alpina on a wide hiking trail. A short shuttle will bring you back to the hotel, where you'll have some time to relax before gathering for a final social hour and dinner, celebrating the week's accomplishments and good times together.

At 11:00 AM, your guides will bid you farewell at your hotel, and a private shuttle will take you to the Belluno train station, where you can catch a train to your next destination. Please do not book a train before 1:30 PM.
