Additional Arrival Information
We recommend flying into Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison. Hotel Indigo offers a free shuttle to/from the airport from 7 am to 10 pm. Just call the front desk +1-608-256-0061 a week in advance and give them your flight details, and the driver will be there to pick you up! The drive takes 15-20 minutes. If arriving outside of those hours, you can use Uber, Lyft or a taxi.
Alternatively, you can fly into Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE). Milwaukee International Airport is an easy drive (85 miles) to Madison. You may rent a car or book a shuttle with GO Riteway (1-800-236-5450) to get to Madison. Please call for shuttle pricing and booking options.
If you are driving, you can park at the hotel for $18/night or find nearby street parking for free.
Your Trek Travel host will meet you at Hotel Indigo (901 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53703) at 11:00 AM on the first day of the trip. Here you will be fitted to your Trek bike ensuring you will be comfortable for the week. After a safety talk and reviewing the details of the routes, you will be free to head out on your first ride.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your Trek Travel host by calling 608-453-3685. If you cannot reach them, please call the Trek Travel Office (866-464-8735), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.
Additional Departure Information
Your Trek Travel host will meet you at 11:00 AM at the Hotel Indigo to collect your bike and equipment. Check out is at 11:00 AM. From here you may choose to extend your stay in the area or secure your transportation back to the Madison or Milwaukee airport.
Spin on the Capital City Trail and through the Arboretum
Overview
Welcome to the cultural capital of Wisconsin! Madison is in a class by itself as it is home to the University of Wisconsin and the State Capital, as well as being considered a cycling capital of the United States. Your host will meet you at the modern yet historic Hotel Indigo at 11:00 AM for a bike fit and trip overview. You'll then head off for a warm-up spin on the local favorite Capital City State Trail. Take your time and enjoy the ride! You will work your way toward Fitchburg and return by meandering through the Arboretum, known to locals as "The Arb." You'll see why this tree-lined roller coaster is one of the most popular cycling routes in and out of town. Enjoy a post-ride lunch prior to checking into your hotel. Celebrate your first evening in Madison by selecting from our long list of excellent farm-to-table, locally sourced restaurant menus in town.

Overview
Rise this morning to a delicious Hotel Indigo breakfast. This new hotel features creative murals throughout the space that showcase the authentic style of the original historic architecture. Once you've fueled up, hop on your bike and head south through quintessential Midwest scenery on another popular route amongst local cyclists. Today is your day to prepare your legs for the epic Trek 100 ride event tomorrow! Our route follows undulating roads with mild uphill climbs — just enough to get your heart pumping on your way to Belleville. Avid riders can extend the loop farther south to see the Swiss village of New Glarus, with its chalets and European charm and the world-famous New Glarus Brewery, home to the one-and-only Spotted Cow farmhouse ale. Regardless of the route you choose, on your way back towards Madison, you'll pass through the artist’s enclave of Paoli, a popular meeting point for cyclists. Here you can grab a coffee and a snack from one of the eclectic cafes and visit the art galleries and antiques shops before you pedal the final 15 miles back to Madison. Enjoy a stroll around Capitol Square this evening on your way to dinner. Be sure to eat hearty so that your legs are ready for tomorrow’s epic ride.

Overview
The day has arrived! The Trek 100 began as a humble charity ride to raise funds for childhood cancer research. But over the years, it’s grown into something so much bigger. Today you head to Trek’s global headquarters in Waterloo, to support a great cause and enjoy a beautiful ride with a few thousand like-minded friends. The ride includes several route options, all on beautiful country roads, and staggered start times to make sure no one misses the after-party. Enjoy breakfast on the road today as you take an early 30-minute shuttle to Waterloo. At the Trek 100 ride, you’ll enjoy special upgrades including VIP bike parking, post-race showers, and even a celebrity rider meet and greet (if offered, participants change from year to year). You'll have four route options to choose from today, including those listed below as well as a 19-mile option. After enjoying an awesome ride through Wisconsin’s heartland, you’ll return to an after-party like none other. Enjoy lunch and relax with a beer, and then catch your shuttle back to Hotel Indigo to relax and unwind. Tonight is your last evening in Madison — we recommend a stroll up to The Old Fashioned for a quintessential Wisconsin meal. Be sure to try the cheese curds and double-brat burger to cap off your last night with a delicious twist on a local classic.
