A Letter from Tania Burke

A group of people sitting down staring out at the sunset in Croatia.

Travel has a way of creating moments that stay with us—a peaceful sunset, laughter shared at the top of a summit, the taste of a well-earned local meal, or the simple joy of watching a landscape unfold around you. Whether you joined us for a morning ride in California, a rewarding climb in the Alps, a hike along Portugal’s coast, or a gravel adventure closer to home, you helped shape a year filled with connection, discovery, and joy.

Thank you for trusting us to craft the experiences that matter most. You’re the reason our guides go the extra mile, why our team continues to refine each itinerary, and why we’re constantly dreaming up new ways to help you see the world.

From all of us at Trek Travel, we wish you a holiday season filled with warmth, joy, and the promise of new journeys.

Tania Burke,

President, Trek Travel

Trek Travel Named a Travel + Leisure World’s Best Tour Operator

Being named a Travel + Leisure World’s Best Tour Operator is an honor—but more importantly, it’s a reflection of the people, care, and experiences that define every Trek Travel trip.

Each year, Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards are shaped by thousands of readers who vote based on real travel experiences. These aren’t industry insiders or marketing panels—they’re travelers who’ve been there, done it, and felt the difference. That’s what makes this recognition especially meaningful to us.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking forward. From cycling and gravel adventures to hiking, walking, self-guided trips, and ride camps, discover the experiences that led travelers to name Trek Travel a World’s Best Tour Operator.
