We recommend that you fly into Venice's Marco Polo Airport (VCE) and then take a train to Belluno. Italian train schedules and tickets can be found on www.TrenItalia.com.
From Belluno, you'll need to arrange a private transfer to the town of Corvara, about a one-and-a-half-hour drive, where you'll meet your guides on the first day of the trip. Our trip consultants are happy to provide contact details for trusted local drivers to arrange your transfer to the hotel in Corvara. A private transfer from the Belluno train station to Corvara costs approximately €220 if reserved in advance with our recommended drivers. Alternatively, taxis are available at the train station but typically charge a higher rate.
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at our hotel, La Perla (Str. Col Alt 105, 39033 Corvara in Badia BZ) on the first day of your Custom Dolomites bike tour. While the arrival time is flexible, we recommend that you arrive as early as possible to ensure the group gathers and departs together for the first day's ride. Please come to the meeting dressed in your cycling gear, ready to ride. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch as your guides fit you to your Trek bike ensuring you will be comfortable for the week. Following a safety talk and a review of the details of the route, we'll hit the road marvelling at the spectacular peaks of the Dolomites accompanying us throughout the ride.
If you will be late for the meeting or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. You will receive an email a week before the trip start with their names and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call our hotel, La Perla (+39 0471 83 10 00), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.

Ride around the highest mountain in the horizon, the Marmolada, Queen of the Dolomites!
Overview
Today, you'll take on a legendary ride tied to one of the most iconic moments in Giro d’Italia history. After a warm-up climb over Campolongo Pass, you'll cruise through the Cordevole Valley before tackling the most demanding ascent of Fedaia Pass in the Veneto region. Pace yourself—the nearly one-and-a-half-mile straight stretch at a 10% grade will demand your full strength. The final few miles will push your legs to the limit with ten steep hairpin turns, each hitting double-digit gradients, but the breathtaking views of the Marmolada Glacier and Fedaia Lake make every effort worthwhile. After a well-earned break with refreshments, descend into the charming town of Canazei before taking on Passo Pordoi, an iconic climb synonymous with Fausto Coppi, the legendary Italian champion who conquered it time and again. Once in Arabba, you'll climb Campolongo one last time before reaching your hotel in Corvara to complete this unforgettable loop. Tonight you'll shuttle to a local agriturismo in the village of Badia, where you'll savor home-cooked Ladin specialties before heading to the Maratona village to pick up the race numbers.
