Discover Devon and Cornwall on a guided walking tour featuring coastal paths, moorland trails, and historic seaside villages.

Experience the beauty and charm of England’s southwest, where time seems to slow and every path leads to a view worth remembering. On this six-day immersive hiking and walking vacation through Devon and Cornwall, you’ll walk across the open moors of Dartmoor National Park, trace the Pilgrims’ path from Plymouth, and follow the breathtaking South West Coast Path along Cornwall’s golden shores. Between wild tors—large, free-standing rock formations scattered across the moorland—and gentle estuaries, you’ll discover seaside villages, historic stone circles, and the simple joy of walking through landscapes that have inspired poets and painters for centuries. Each evening, relax in welcoming countryside and coastal hotels and reflect on a day well spent in true Trek Travel style.

Know Before You Go!

We want you to be fully prepared for you hiking and walking tour with us. This involves making sure that you choose the appropriate trip for you and that every aspect of your experience is flawless. Each Trek Travel trip is unique to ensure maximum enjoyment every time.

Your Trip Need to Knows:

  • UK entry requirements: Travelers entering the United Kingdom now need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This digital permission, costing £16, allows multiple journeys and is valid for two years or until your passport expires. Approval typically takes about 3 days, so it’s best to apply early. Apply via the UK ETA app or online at www.gov.uk.
  • Gear and clothing: For a comfortable hiking experience, we recommend wearing sturdy, waterproof hiking shoes with high ankle support.
  • Routes and weather: Please note that because weather conditions can change rapidly, guides may choose to modify the daily hike for your safety. This could involve changes in both distance and elevation.
  • Transport: We recommend pre-booking any train tickets to/from London using the Trainline app or at www.thetrainline.com
  • Air Conditioning: England’s buildings are typically designed to retain warmth rather than stay cool, thanks to the country’s mild climate. As a result, most hotels don’t offer air conditioning, except in larger city properties. During a warm spell, opening your windows is usually all you need to keep your room comfortable.

While local currency is preferred, there are other options to make tipping easier. Most guides accept gratuity via PayPal or our staff can help before or after the trip. Gratuities will be divided among the guide team, so feel free to leave your gratuity with whomever you choose at the end of your trip.

Like everything else about your vacation, the Trek Travel team is here to make this experience easier for you. While local currency is preferred, you may also tip through the following options:
