We recommend you fly into either Madrid (MAD) or Sevilla (SVQ), both offering international airports.
From Madrid airport (MAD), you can easily reach Madrid Puerta de Atocha train station by taxi (approximately 20 minutes and 40€) or train (line C1, approximately 25 minutes and 15€). Before heading to Ronda, consider making use of the Atocha train station luggage storage services (called “Consigna”) to spend some time visiting nearby sites.
If arriving in Sevilla, a taxi can take you to Hotel Maestranza in Ronda, where your host awaits. We recommend arranging the transfer with our local driver in advance, and if you have any questions, our Trip Consultants can provide the necessary contact information. The trip takes about two hours and costs €220, with credit card payments accepted (except American Express).
Your Trek Travel host will greet you in the lobby of Hotel Maestranza (Calle Virgen de la Paz 26, 29400 Ronda, Spain) at 10:00 AM on the first day of the trip. Depending on the number of guests, slight adjustments to the meeting time may be necessary, with advance notice provided if required. Have your riding gear accessible to streamline the process. Following a trip overview, change into your cycling gear, get fitted to your Trek bike for comfort, and embark on the day's ride back to Ronda after a safety briefing and route details review.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your host. If you cannot reach them, please call your hotel, Hotel Maestranza (+34 952 187 072) and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.

Explore Grazalema Natural Park
Overview
Be prepared to take lots of photos today! The ride today is a scenic but challenging route through the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. If you're up for a challenge and want to add some spice to your ride, you can tackle the Puerto de las Palomas, a well-known climb among the riders of the Vuelta de España, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding hills and lake as you twist your way up and over the pass. Whichever option you choose, your destination is Grazalema, another delightful pueblo blanco nestled amongst the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema. Here, you can explore charming cafes and bistros for lunch and try locally produced organic Payoyo goat's cheese before a mellow rolling ride through a forest of oak and cork trees back to Ronda. This evening, we suggest taking a stroll through Ronda to discover the secret gems of this historic town. Enjoy the breathtaking views over the El Tajo gorge from the new bridge, the Puente Nuevo, which was completed in 1793. Then, wind your way through the old city of Ronda that served as an important historical location when the Moors filled it with mosques and palaces. Nowadays, the cobbled streets are lined with handsome mansions, some of which are still occupied by Ronda's titled families. Dinner is yours to discover in town, and we have provided a list of our favorite bistros from around the city to help you choose.
