What Guests are Saying

Cinque Terre has a special place in my heart. Hiking through lemon groves and terraced vineyards along the rugged cliffs of the Italian Riviera rewards me every time with new postcard-worthy experiences. Before and After Your Trip

FAQs

You'll find a beautiful, cool, and less crowded Cinque Terre in the months of September and October. The climate is tempered, favoured by the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains that shelter from the northern winds. The average daily temperature sits around 70°F (21°C) and the highs get up to 77ºF (25°C). You can still do some swimming this time of the year, with an average sea temperature of 72ºF (22°C). September is practically an extension of summer weather, with mostly sunny, warm days. However, rain is always a possibility so we recommend bringing a breathable, water-repellant jacket and shoes, as well as an umbrella. October tends to bring more rain but the trails, town piazzas, and seafronts are far less congested.
