Not only can you book with confidence due to our new, flexible cancellation policy, but you can rest assured that our on-trip dining, transfers, and activities are all COVID-aware and planned for maximum safety. Here are a few additional changes we’ve made to prioritize your health while you travel with us.

Vaccination: Trek Travel will require all guests to be fully vaccinated and to carry proof of their vaccination with them for 2022 departures*. (*If you qualify for a medical exemption, please contact our team.)
COVID-19 Testing: Trek Travel will require a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test within 72 hours of the start of your trip, presented on the first day. See HERE for the US testing site nearest you.
Recovery from COVID-19: If guests are not vaccinated, but recovered from COVID-19, they must have recovered within the last 90 days and present negative PCR or rapid antigen test results. In addition to a confirmation of recovery from a medical professional, you will need to have isolated as per CDC guidelines and be symptom-free.
Face Coverings: Trek Travel guests and guides will be required to wear face coverings in vans and other transportation vehicles. We will follow local restrictions and guidelines for mask use indoors. See more on face covering below.
Symptomatic Guest: If a guest starts experiencing symptoms during the trip, they will be asked to isolate at the hotel and our guides will provide guidance on the nearest medical facility to seek further evaluation.
As the world struggles with the COVID-19 crisis, we want you to know that we are here for you and we are in this together. While it is not business as usual at Trek Travel, we are thinking of when we can be together, enhancing our safety and dreaming of new ways for you to travel with us. We are also working to take care of our team and our guests around the world. We are prepared so when the time is right for you, we will be here to safely show you the world by bike.

“From the guides, to the scenery, the dining, and co-guests, this was a great trip! Excellent riding options with challenging climbs, amazing views, and a wealth of memories. Crater Lake was stunning, cycling through the lava flows of McKenzie pass was otherworldly, and the mix of alpine and high-desert was really cool. Perfect weather, perfect riding, and perfect guides. Lodging was excellent – especially the peaceful and relaxing setup at FivePine. Do not let the current COVID-19 situation make you feel that a Trek Travel experience will somehow be less than before – this was my ninth trip with Trek, and this trip was as good as any that I have done prior. Trek Travel really is a step ahead of the rest with planning, processes, and execution. Their work with local companies and jurisdictions, combined with the covid-related processes put into place for cleaning, health checks, and sanitization, deliver an as safe as possible experience in today’s climate. Well done!”
