Built in 1869 to service the Otago Gold Rush, Olivers Lodge and Stables occupies a sensitively restored heritage complex in the heart of Clyde’s historic precinct. Eleven rooms divide between the Lodge, with its elegant interiors, Oriental rugs, and antique maps, and the Stables, where timber beams and stable doors open onto a sunny courtyard. Freshly baked breakfast is served each morning in the 135-year-old dining room.
