Additional Arrival Information
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays.
We recommend that you fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC). We suggest booking with Brewster Express shuttle service (https://www.banffjaspercollection.com/brewster-express/) in advance. The drive will take approximately one and a half hours with departure times almost every hour. We strongly recommend planning ahead and also booking a return ticket for after the trip.
Trek Travel guides will meet guests at The Moose Lodge and Suites (345 Banff Ave, Banff, AB T1L 1H8, Canada) at 9:00 AM. You’ll be treated to a delicious lunch of regional favorites followed by a personal bike fitting to ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. Your guides will then present an overview of the day’s ride as well as some key safety tips and off we will go! Please have your first day’s riding gear handy and separate from your other luggage to facilitate the bike fitting and ride.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. You will receive an email a week before the trip start date with their names and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call Moose Hotel & Suites (1-866-379-0021) and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.
Additional Departure Information
Checkout is 11:00 AM at the Moose Hotel and Suites. Lunch is available at the hotel restaurant at noon. You can enjoy more holiday time or meet your airport transfer to continue back to Calgary airport from the hotel. If you are flying out on the same day, please do not book your flight any earlier than 4:00 PM in order to allow for ample travel time. Guests with same-day afternoon flights will need to confirm shuttle times with Brewsters Express and may need to leave before the 12:00 PM lunch.

Explore Bow Summit and Peyto Lake with breathtaking views of Wapta Icefield
Overview
Today is a classic Canadian Rockies day as we set out on every cyclist’s dream ride. After the group takes a 45-minute shuttle to the ride start, you’ll begin your first full day pedaling deep into the Banff National Park and onto the awe-inspiring Canada's Icefields Parkway. As you gradually climb, you’ll see the junction of two impressive icefields, the Wapta and the Waputik with Mount Balfour standing at 10,375 feet looking down upon you. Peaks and glaciers surround you on all sides as you cruise the valley floor to Bow Lake for a picnic lunch, in a landscape almost too beautiful to be real. For those interested in more challenging climbing, continue up to the lookout point over the wolf-shaped Peyto Lake. After the return ride back to Lake Louise, you'll shuttle back to Banff. Relax at the hotel before exploring Banff on your own for dinner tonight, armed with great suggestions provided by your guides.

See the impressive Takakkaw Falls and experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on Kicking Horse River
Overview
Wake up and enjoy a relaxing and hearty breakfast to get your day off to a great start. Today's ride begins with a shuttle to Yoho National Park in British Columbia where the spectacular one-hour transfer will cross the west side of the Canadian Continental Divide with unbelievable views the whole time. Pedal your way up the iconic Yoho Valley to the base of Takakkaw Falls, the second tallest waterfall in Canada. This road is nestled deep in a valley carved by glaciers where a short section of switchbacks give a European feel to the journey. Your morning ride will be complete with lunch at a beautiful natural area — either Emerald Lake, the Natural Bridge, or the Monarch Rest area. After lunch, an exciting afternoon of rafting on the Kicking Horse River awaits you before everyone shuttles back to Banff. Tonight you can once again choose from one of the many wonderful restaurants in town. Just be sure to enjoy a delicious "bear claw" from one of the local chocolate shops as you stroll around town.

Witness the magnificent vistas and sublime colors of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake
Overview
Once you have enjoyed your morning coffee and the delicious a la carte breakfast, everyone will shuttle to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Be ready to take many photos because these two lakes are Banff National Park's most photographed and with good reason. The silt falling from the mountains create an other-wordly color that is not to be believed. Moraine Lake road is closely monitored for vehicle traffic which allows for sublime cycling opportunities on the open road. Upon your return from Moraine Lake, you will have the choice to ride down to the village of Lake Louise and onto the old highway 1A towards Banff. Tonight, the Banff Resort gondola will be your chariot to our final social hour and dinner on the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where you'll share fun stories from the week with friends, both new and old, surrounded by incredible views of the Canadian Rockies laid out in front of you.

Take in the local's favorite rides around Tunnel Mountain and Lake Minnewanka
Overview
Today's ride will include options in and around Banff. After a leisurely morning spent at the hotel, you'll have ride options including a Tunnel Mountain climb or a loop of Lake Minnewanka. The loop begins by descending from the town of Banff to Bow Falls. You will ride past the many holes on the spectacular Banff Springs Hotel's 18-hole golf course, with a great view of hole number 4, “The Devil’s Cauldron,” its signature hole on the course. Very few cars, new pavement with the views of the golf course, and the Bow River make this short ride a must-do before leaving Banff. Guides will then say goodbye at 11:00 AM from the Moose Hotel, where you can then continue your adventures or board your pre-arranged shuttle to Calgary.
