Hagood Mill
Overview
We will set out for an enjoyable ride on the western outskirts of Greenville. You'll appreciate the quiet and relaxed atmosphere as we take in the picturesque and overgrown greenery. We'll take a break at Hagood Mill, where you can enjoy a meal while learning about the history of this 1826 water-powered gristmill. The mill has existed on the site since the 1790s, but the current building was built by James Hagood in 1845 and remained in the Hagood family, operating until 1966. Historically it served as a hub for local community gatherings. Later in the evening, you'll have the chance to discover Greenville's diverse food scene on your own. Your guides will be available to give recommendations for their personal favorite restaurants among the over 120 independent eateries located within the 10 city blocks of downtown Greenville.

Saluda Grade
The Greenville Watershed manages the area to protect its vital water resources, including the Table Rock and North Saluda Reservoirs. These reservoirs provide clean drinking water to the region, and the surrounding land is conserved to maintain water quality, both of which were acquired by Greenville's water authority in the early 20th century.
