After a 45-minute shuttle, you'll arrive for lunch at a small country bistro with sweeping views of the Tramuntana mountains. Please have your first day's cycling clothes and riding gear easily accessible and separate from your luggage.
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly into Palma de Mallorca (PMI). You can find connections to this airport from many major European cities, although Barcelona (BCN) is the closest (45-minute flight) and a great place to visit before or after your trip.
Outside the arrivals terminal, taxis are plentiful and operate 24 hours a day, the ride into central Palma is approximately 20€. Alternatively, buses depart every 15 minutes for downtown Palma (6:10 AM - 2:15 AM); the ride costs 2€ per person. For more information, consult the Palma de Mallorca airport website.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, Finca Banyols (+34 871 15 38 68), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. A taxi from Palma de Mallorca to your ride start or to Finca Banyols will cost approximately 100€.
Additional Departure Information
You'll say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at Kimpton Aysla, then shuttle 30 minutes to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) arriving at approximately 11:30 PM. If you are extending your stay in Mallorca you will be dropped at Anssia Gastrobeach Club Palma, where taxis are easily available. Please allow adequate connection time to accommodate possible traffic delays, and don't schedule a flight before 3:00 PM.
Meander through olive groves and the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains
Overview
Welcome to the stunning island of Mallorca. Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at Anssia Gastrobeach Club Palma at 11:30 AM. After a short shuttle, we'll begin with lunch at a country bistro framed by rugged mountains. Then your guides will fit you to your Trek bike and share a few tips for riding on the island. From there, you'll ride the southern slopes of the Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to Finca Banyols. Built in 1475 and carefully restored, the hotel's stone walls and quiet courtyards reflect Mallorcan traditions. The rest of the afternoon is yours, whether that means time at the pool or a wander through the olive groves, before we gather for a welcome drink at social hour. Dinner presents your first taste of Mallorca's mar y montana tradition at the hotel's own Aramesh restaurant.

Climb the Coll d'Honor before a tour and wine tasting at Bodega Ribas
Overview
Today's ride carries a certain unhurried grandeur, as switchbacks trace the terraced valleys of the Tramuntana before you crest the Coll d'Honor and roll into the quiet town of Orient. If you're after more, climb Coll de Sóller, one of the island's most storied ascents, then pause for a traditional cortado at our favorite café along the way. From there, the road leads to Bodega Ribas, a family-run winery founded in 1711, where a private tour of the historic cellars comes with a taste of Mallorcan wines, Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, and other regional specialties. The afternoon eases back toward Finca Banyols, whether by bike or by van, with time before dinner for a curated spa treatment made with the estate's own products. This evening is yours. Dine in the village of Alaró at a restaurant of your choice, whether that means a quiet meal with your travel partner or an evening among new friends.

Trace the wild coastline on a dramatic ride through Banyalbufar and Estellencs
Overview
The morning's ride carries you from the Alaró countryside to the wild edge of the Tramuntana coast, a stretch of road counted among the most spectacular in Europe. You'll trace the cliffs through Banyalbufar and Estellencs, two villages perched high above the Mediterranean and its secluded coves, before dropping inland to the old town of Andratx. Narrow, winding streets and a slower pace offer a glimpse of "real" Mallorca, away from the usual tourist path. Lunch is at one of our guides' favorite local spots, a chance to taste Mallorcan small bites before continuing on. From here, ride on to our next hotel, the Kimpton Aysla, a 5-star resort in Santa Ponça, or let the van carry you there instead. The rest of the afternoon is yours, whether that means time at one of the pools or in the spa, before we settle into a relaxed dinner at the hotel.

Embark on a private sailboat cruise to a tiny island for a paella lunch
Overview
You'll take in Mallorca's dramatic Tramuntana coastline today from the calm of the Mediterranean Sea, spending the morning aboard a private sailboat that glides past secluded rocky coves and powder-sand beaches. The day's high point is a breathtaking lunch at Sa Illeta, a restaurant set on its own tiny rock island in the sapphire-blue Mediterranean, where the paella alone is worth the trip. From there, the boat carries you back with time to explore the port or unwind at the hotel. If you'd rather ride than sail, your guides will have an option ready. Dinner tonight is on your own. Stay in at the hotel, or shuttle to the charming fishing village of Port Adriano to wander its streets and shops before exploring your options for cocktails and tapas in the marina.

Explore the small villages of Sant Elm and Es Capdella
Overview
Mallorca's appeal has long been tied to beaches and sun, but today reveals how much more the island has to offer. The morning ride winds along coastal roads before arriving in Sant Elm, a small fishing village at the island's far southwest corner, where you're free to choose among restaurants with sweeping sea views, known for traditional Mallorcan dishes, especially fresh local seafood. After lunch, you'll climb into the foothills, with the option to summit the Coll de Tords, before reaching Es Capdella, one of Mallorca's most authentic, quietly beautiful villages. Pause here for an espresso before the welcome descent back to the coast. This evening calls for celebration. A glass of cava opens the night, before chefs at Saba Restaurant Bar & Bodega take over, grilling meats and seafood over open flame, preparing fresh sushi, and turning local ingredients into dishes with Korean and Japanese technique. It's the trip's finale, closing the week in style.
