Additional Arrival Information
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa (Ctra. Alcúdia, Km 2, 07400) at 11:00 AM on the first day of the Mallorca cycling trip. Upon meeting your guides and getting checked into the hotel, they'll ensure you have a great fit to your Trek bike for the week and give you a few pointers before you head off on a self-guided warm-up ride.
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly in to Palma de Mallorca (PMI).
You can find connections to this airport from many major European cities, although Barcelona, Spain is the closest (a 45-minute flight) and a great place to visit before and after your trip. A good website to visit for flights within Europe is www.SkyScanner.net.
There are several ways to reach the PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). We recommend renting a car, as the hotel's location between Alcúdia and Pollença makes it easy to explore Mallorca during your trip. Taxis are also readily available at the airport, with the journey taking approximately 45 minutes. Expect fares of around €100 for up to four passengers. Trek Travel recommends Mallorca Private Transfers shuttle service to the hotel. Reservations can be made here. You may also consult the Palma airport website at www.palmaairport.info for more transportation information.
If you will be late for the meeting time, or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. If you cannot reach them, please call our hotel, PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa (+34 971 54 62 00), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.
Additional Departure Information
You will say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at the hotel. Please be sure to book transportation to your departure airport prior to the end of your trip.
Choose from one of our self-guided rides such as the Sineu Loop
Overview
Welcome to your Mallorca cycling camp! You'll meet your guides at PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa at 11:00 AM for a bike fitting on your Trek Domane with Di2 shifting as well as an overview of the week’s schedule and ride options. Pick from our selection of self‑guided rides, with the Sineu Loop topping our guides’ recommendations as the perfect way to settle into Mallorca. You’ll spin through the Mallorcan towns of Muro and Petra before arriving in Sineu—a great spot to pause for a coffee in one of the island’s oldest market towns. As you arc back toward our hotel in Alcúdia, the landscape opens into wide agricultural plains framed by distant hills, offering a relaxed finish to the day’s ride. Unwind at the hotel before taking a short group shuttle to a nearby bistro for dinner, where we’ll share stories from our first day and look toward the adventure ahead.
