Additional Arrival Information
Your Trek Travel host will meet you at Trek Bicycle Mallorca (c/ Gremi de Passamaners, 2, Nord, 07009 Palma, Mallorca, Spain) at 10:00 AM on the first day of your trip. Please have your riding gear readily accessible to avoid having to unpack your luggage. After a trip overview, you may change into your cycling gear, where you will then be fitted to your Trek bike, ensuring your comfort for the week. Following a safety talk and route briefing, a 45-minute shuttle has been arranged to take you to Pollença and Son Sant Jordi, where the week's riding begins in the Mallorcan countryside.
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly in to Palma de Mallorca (PMI).
You can find connections to this airport from many major European cities, although Barcelona, Spain (BCN) is the closest (a 45-minute flight) and a great place to visit before and after your trip. A good website to visit for flight options within Europe is www.SkyScanner.net. From Palma de Mallorca airport, taxis are plentiful and operate 24 hours a day from within Palma.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your local host. You will receive an email a week before the trip starts with their name and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call Trek Bicycle Mallorca (+34 871 55 60 01) and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. You may take a taxi to the first night’s hotel for approximately €75.
Additional Departure Information
After a short morning ride, your shuttle will arrive at Son Sant Jordi at 11:00 AM to take you back to Trek Bicycle Mallorca.
Your Trek Travel local host will meet you here at the Trek store at 12:00 PM to receive your bikes and say farewell. From the Trek store, you can take a taxi or shuttle to Palma or any other destination of your choice.
Welcome to the sunny countryside of Mallorca
Overview
Welcome to your Mallorcan adventure. Your Trek Travel host will meet you at Trek Bicycle Mallorca in Palma at 10:00 AM for a quick introduction and bike fit, setting you up for a comfortable week in the saddle. From there, a 45-minute shuttle will take you to Pollença and your base for the week, Son Sant Jordi, a quaint 17th-century guesthouse in the heart of the old town. Your introductory ride heads out on country lanes through Alcúdia's Roman and Moorish old town before looping back through orange groves and open fields back to Pollença, where your luggage will be waiting. Take your time to settle in before exploring the cobbled streets and, with recommendations at hand, finding a table in the historic plaza for local wine and tapas, setting the stage for the week ahead.

Ride the headlands to the rugged edge of Cap de Formentor
Overview
Set your own pace today on one of Mallorca's most celebrated rides. Rolling out of Pollença on quiet roads, the route climbs toward the Formentor Peninsula, trading farmland for pine forest as the coast begins to appear below. The road winds toward Cap de Formentor, one of the island's most iconic landmarks, where rugged headlands, deep blue water, and switchbacks stacked above the sea make for some of the most distinctive riding in Mallorca. At the lighthouse, take time to snap a photo and linger over a coffee or a bite to eat with views stretching across the Mediterranean. The return ride offers a fresh perspective on the same landscape before you roll back into Pollença. If the legs are willing, the 365-step Calvari staircase climbs to a hilltop chapel with views over the old town, a worthy end to the day. This evening, celebrate the ride with dinner in town—your local host's restaurant recommendations are ready when you are.

Roll through the heartland through golden fields to the traditional Sineu Market
Overview
After breakfast overlooking the garden, today's ride trades coastal drama for the timeless rhythm of Mallorca's interior. The roads wind through open farmland and villages on the way to Sineu, one of the island's oldest market towns. It's market day, so take some time off the bike, order a cortado, and soak in the atmosphere around the market square, one of the most authentic slices of inland Mallorcan life you'll find. The return route brings the Tramuntana Mountains back into view, their ridgelines rising above groves and golden fields as Pollença draws near. Back at Son Sant Jordi, the afternoon offers time to refresh and perhaps discover why the Spanish siesta endures. This evening, catch the bus or a taxi to Port de Pollença, where waterfront restaurants and the last of the day's light set the scene for a fresh, Mediterranean dinner.

Climb into the Serra de Tramuntana to an iconic view of the legendary Sa Calobra
Overview
The Serra de Tramuntana announces itself early today, a UNESCO-listed mountain range that rewards every climb with views to match. The ascent of Coll de Femenia sets the tone—smooth pavement, long sightlines, and a rhythm that eases you into the mountains before the landscape opens up around you. The road threads through limestone peaks and pine forest to the Monasterio de Lluc, the spiritual heart of Mallorca and a natural stop to refuel with some lunch and take in the history embedded in these passes. The day's crescendo comes at the Sa Calobra lookout, where one of cycling's most iconic roads reveals itself from above, switchbacks looping and doubling back through the limestone cliffs in a spectacle that earns its reputation. The return follows the same road with a fresh perspective. Back in Pollença, Teixits Vicens offers a different kind of discovery. Step inside the island's renowned textile workshop to watch handcrafted Mallorcan fabrics being made, just as they have been for generations. Your local host's recommendations will guide you to dinner from there.
