Andalucia embodies quintessential Spain: limestone peaks, white villages, and roads that offer cycling unlike anywhere else—where every turn brings breathtaking views. It's a land of exquisite tapas, rich olive oils, classic wines, and warm hospitality set to the rhythm of passionate music. Picasso's homeland and Hemingway's muse, Andalucia will captivate you as you explore Granada, Ronda, and beyond on our bike tour, where exceptional rides are just the beginning of the magic.

An amazing experience!!
We had such a great trip with Carlos and Jorge riding and experiencing the beauty and "hills" of Andalucia. Guides can make or break a bike trip, and they made it fun and easy. This was our first Trek Travel adventure, but definitely not our last.
T&B, Oregon
Our ride through Andalusia was simply wonderful. The roads were great and the surroundings spectacular. Olive trees, limestone mountains, poppy fields. And the white hill towns that look like snow masses from far away. The biking was challenging but doable with the great Trek bikes and gearing. The hotels were a great place to chill at the end of the day and the nice inserts of local culture—olive oil tour, Ronda tour and flamenco show were just right.

Perfect blend of world class riding, scenery, and cuisine! My guides Carlos and Jorge made this trip everything I had hoped it would be. Their knowledge of the area and ways they embedded that within the daily activities, be it cycling, dining, or strolling around town, added to this trip in a way that can't be replicated. Thank you Trek Travel and team for making my 40th birthday extra special! I'm looking forward to my next trip with Trek Travel in 2023.

This was my first experience with Trek Travel and I am completely satisfied. I had high expectations going in and this experience met all of those expectations and more. The hotels were beautiful and top notch. The food was great and the social activities were well done. Spain was beautiful, accommodating and we were treated very well. The rides were challenging without being a grind. And the guides were very nice and helpful. In short, it's an experience that I will treasure for a lifetime and I would definitely do it again.

Additional Arrival Information
We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the start of the Andalucia bike tour, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays.
To reach Granada, the largest international airport is Málaga (AGP), which offers multiple flights, including connections from New York (EWR) and Montreal (YUL) as well as several daily connections with major European airports. If you have time, we recommend saving one day to enjoy Malaga city center and at least a day and a half to discover Granada and its amazing treasures. We suggest using public transportation to get to Granada, with the bus being a faster option than the train.
From Málaga bus station, you can catch a bus to Granada bus station, which takes approximately 90 to 110 minutes and costs around 15€ for a one-way ticket. Alternatively, there are direct buses from Málaga airport to Granada bus station, taking around 2 hours 30 minutes, and costing between 14€ for a one-way ticket.
The most direct and comfortable way to reach Granada is by taking a taxi from Málaga airport. Head to the taxi rank and negotiate the price with the driver. You can expect to pay around 150€.
Another option is to fly directly to Granada’s airport (GRX) from Madrid (MAD), Barcelona (BCN), Paris (ORY) or London Gatwick (LGW) although connections here are more limited. From the airport, take a taxi or the public bus outside the arrivals level and transfer to the center of Granada.
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the hotel Hospes Palacio de los Patos, (Calle Solarillo de Gracia, 1, 18002 Granada, Spain) at 10:00 AM. You'll then shuttle one and a half hours to Alfarnatejo where your guides will do personal bike fittings then start your day’s ride. Lunch will be towards the end of the ride and close to your first hotel. Please ensure you have a hearty breakfast as Spanish lunchtimes are traditionally later than in the US (2:00-3:00 PM). Please arrive dressed in your first-day cycling clothes and bring along everything you will need for the ride (shoes, glasses, saddle, pedals, etc.) easily accessible, separate from your main luggage.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, La Bobadilla (+34 958 32 18 61) and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. A taxi from Granada to your ride start or first hotel will take about one and a half hours and will cost around 200 Euros.
Additional Departure Information
You will say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at the Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria. You'll shuttle one and a half hours to the Sevilla Santa Justa Station, arriving at approximately 12:30 PM. Please allow adequate connection time for any ongoing travel to accommodate possible traffic delays.
We recommend that you fly out of Sevilla (SVQ). There are also train connections from Sevilla Santa Justa to Madrid Atocha station if you wish to fly from Madrid (MAD), instead.
Welcome to sun-drenched Andalucia
