Additional Arrival Information
To ensure a smooth start to your trip, we recommend arriving at least one day prior to the scheduled start date. This will allow you to acclimate to the local time zone and reduce the risk of flight-related delays. The recommended airport for arrival is Greenville International Airport (GSP), located 13 miles (20 km) from downtown Greenville and serviced by major airlines. To get to the hotel from GSP, consider using a local taxi or renting a car.
Upon arrival, your Trek Travel staff will meet you at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown RiverPlace between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on the first day of the trip. However, please note that hotel rooms may not be available for check-in until 3:00 PM. After meeting your guides and checking into the hotel, they will help you adjust your bike for the week and provide you with some tips before you set out on a self-guided warm-up ride.
In the case that you will be late or unable to make the meeting time, please notify your guides. If you are unable to reach them, please call the first hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown RiverPlace at 864-263-4800 and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact information.
Additional Departure Information
You will say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown RiverPlace. Please be sure to book transportation to your departure airport prior to the end of your trip.
The use of your Trek Travel bike ends at 11:00 AM on day of departure, and in some cases, may be needed for another guest arriving that day. Extensions may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed before your trip begins.

Overview
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the hotel at 11:00 AM on the first day of the trip. After a short round of introductions and talks, we'll jump right into a perfect bike fitting to make sure you are comfortable on your Trek Domane bike. Your guides will go over the daily schedule and discuss route options. Once you are ready to hit the road, you can take a short ride to Paris Mountain - a popular climb within Greenville. If you prefer, you can also check into your hotel room and catch up with the group later for dinner to plan for the adventures ahead.

The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 20-mile (32 km) multi-use rail trail in Greenville County which largely follows the bed of a former railroad that had been nicknamed after the indigenous swamp rabbit.

Campbell Covered Bridge
Overview
Today, immerse yourself in the picturesque landscape of North and South Carolina by visiting the historic Campbell Covered Bridge in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area. The Blue Ridge Escarpment offers stunning views that will leave a lasting impression. As you ride through the Blue Ridge, you will understand why many professional riders consider this area a true gem. The Mountain Bridge Wilderness is 10,883 acres of natural beauty, including scenic vistas and waterfalls, located in Northern Greenville County, near the North Carolina border. The Campbell Covered Bridge, constructed between 1909 and 1911, is a notable highlight in the area, as it is the only remaining covered bridge in South Carolina, out of the original 20 that were once present in the state.

Caesar's Head
Overview
Explore the rich cycling heritage of this area today by taking a challenging ride on the quiet country roads leading to the iconic six-mile climb up Caesar's Head. This climb, well-known in pro cycling circles, was often a decisive factor in the Tour DuPont and has seen many professional athletes leave their mark. As you embark on this undulating ride, you'll pass through peaceful countryside, and climb through thick woods on a narrow road to reach the summit at the scenic Caesar's Head State Park. This climb is steep and challenging, gaining over 1,200 feet (365 m) of elevation, with a steep grade and variable gradient, but offers a rewarding view on good weather days.

Overview
Today, you have the option to explore the lesser-known sights of Greenville either independently or with your fellow riders. Take a leisurely tour on the scenic Travelers Rest Loop, or ask our guides for their personal favorite self-guided routes. Only nine miles (14 km) north of Greenville, in the heart of Upstate South Carolina, lies the charming and historic town of Travelers Rest. Since before its establishment in 1893, this town has been a sanctuary for travelers, serving as a stopover for settlers and herders alike, offering a much-needed respite from their journey. If you're in need of a break, today also serves as a perfect opportunity to rest and recover the legs a bit. As some guests arrive and others depart, we will provide you with cue sheets and guidance to help you find your own secluded spot of heaven.

Hagood Mill
Overview
We will set out for an enjoyable ride on the western outskirts of Greenville. You'll appreciate the quiet and relaxed atmosphere as we take in the picturesque and overgrown greenery. We'll take a break at Hagood Mill, where you can enjoy a meal while learning about the history of this 1826 water-powered gristmill. The mill has existed on the site since the 1790s, but the current building was built by James Hagood in 1845 and remained in the Hagood family, operating until 1966. Historically it served as a hub for local community gatherings. Later in the evening, you'll have the chance to discover Greenville's diverse food scene on your own. Your guides will be available to give recommendations for their personal favorite restaurants among the over 120 independent eateries located within the 10 city blocks of downtown Greenville.

Saluda
Overview
We've saved an epic final ride for your week in the Carolinas! This final guided route takes you into the Blue Ridge Mountains' foothills, to the historic town of Saluda. The journey, primarily along Highway 176 from Tryon, includes two significant climbs leading directly into Saluda where your guides will have lunch and all the support you'll need before beginning your journey back to Greenville. You'll have Appalachian rock walls, towering trees, and the Green River guiding your way, offering a peaceful immersion in nature. Tonight, we'll reminisce about our day and celebrate the new friendships and bonds formed over the week.
