We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the start of your Chile Hiking & Walking tour, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly into Temuco Airport (ZCO) via Santiago (SCL). Upon landing at Temuco Airport, follow signs to the TransAraucania shuttle counter. Purchase a ticket (CLP $30,000 / USD $40) by cash or card. The journey is a 35-minute ride to Best Western Ferrat Hotel in Temuco.
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the Best Western Hotel (Juan - Reusch 445, 4780000 Temuco, AraucanÃa, Chile) at 09:00 AM on the first day of the trip. After a two-and-a-half hour shuttle by private coach, your Chile hiking vacation begins! If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. You will receive an email a week before the trip starts with their names and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, Valle Corralco Resort & Spa (+56 45 2940315), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. You may take a taxi to the first night’s hotel for approximately $120 USD.
Additional Departure Information
You'll say goodbye to your guides and fellow travelers at 12:30 PM following a leisurely lunch in Pucón. Afterwards, we'll provide a private hour-and-a-half shuttle service directly to Temuco Airport (ZCO), ensuring you arrive with ample time before your departure flight. We recommend scheduling flights from Temuco no earlier than 4:00 PM to comfortably conclude your Chilean adventure.

Following lunch and settling into your mountain resort, you’ll head out for your first hike.
