Activity Level: Level 3
Terrain: Hilly
The terrain is defined by stunning views and consistently rolling hills, with quiet, narrow, and winding roads. Coastal climbs are gradual but steady, while flatter sections can be exposed to headwinds. Ascents are not exceptionally steep, but they often stretch over 3 miles (5 km).
Our Portugal Self-Guided Bike Tour is best suited for our Level 3 Riders. Short route options are available to accommodate the Level 2 rider seeking less mileage. For those eager to experience every mile but mindful of their physical limits, our electric bike option offers a comfortable and enjoyable solution. Level 4 Riders will enjoy the extra mileage and climbing the avid route options offer.
