Wisconsin's many miles of trails and varied terrain make it an ideal place for bicycling. It consistently ranks as one of America's best places to bike. Rides over the course of your trip will range from urban bike trails to journeys out across quiet southern Wisconsin farm roads. Madison is fairly flat in nature but some of the terrain outside of the city is rolling. Short mellow climbs and descents are characteristic of the riding landscape in this part of the state.
Trek 100 and Madison Self-Guided bike tour is best suited for our Level 3 riders. Level 2 Riders can enjoy shorter mileage options, including on the day of Trek 100. For those eager to experience every mile but mindful of their physical limits, our electric bike option offers a comfortable and enjoyable solution (based on availability). Level 4 Riders can experience plenty of the state's terrain with extra mileage the avid route options provides. See the itinerary for specific daily ride distance and elevation options.
