Warm summer nights begging for a barbecue, amazing roads cutting through rolling diary farms perfect for cycling, and home to a bustling sea of people at the Saturday farmer’s market around the Capitol Square. It also has harsh winters filled with below zero wind chills, sleet, snow, and enough shoveling to make your back hurt just thinking about it. Luckily, we are in the business of offering cycling tours in some of the most incredible, and warm, locations around the world. Plus, spring is right around the corner. So if you’re like us and need a winter escape, these best-selling spring bike tours provide the perfect relief.

“I’m not sure I can adequately express what I am feeling. My husband, Dave and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. We also had never been to Europe. I grew up in an Italian speaking family. I have always wanted to go to Italy. You could not have dropped me in a better place with better people. It was fantastic. Our guides, Sam and Sheila were terrific. They took superb care of us. Our whole group got along very well. The biking, food and wine were fantastic.”

3. Asheville, North Carolina

Somewhere between Southern hospitality and New England charm lies the college town of Asheville. The microbrew scene is alive and well here, as is the food culture, with fall-off-the-bone barbecue and sweet, savory Southern comfort favorites. According to Bon Appetit magazine, Asheville may be America’s best small city to eat and drink in right now, and it’s been voted “Beer City USA” four years running. Come join us as we taste, sip and pedal our way through the gorgeous landscape between Asheville and the small mountain town of Highlands.

You’ll drink in the rich splendor of this elegant and charming region – from the sun-drenched “pueblos blancos” to tranquil mountain passes and limestone peaks. “All I can say is that Mihael was fantastic. Mihael and Lisa were really what made this a “life-changing trip”. They were so generous, kind, funny, accommodating, and hard-working. Not to mention that they were both such strong cyclists. I would go on another trek trip knowing only that either one of them was going to be my guide! They just made the trip so fun and memorable!!”
