This historical Inn, built in the 1700s, offers small but very cosy rooms and has an excellent reputation locally for good food and fine ales. Its Pickwick Bar with its low ceilings and open fire boasts a bar which is the longest piece of work created by Robert Thompson, famous for his Mouseman furniture. Helmsley is the only market town in the North Moors National Park and it is the perfect base for exploring the area.
