After a round of introductions, they will give you a bike fitting to ensure your comfort on your Trek bicycle this week and provide specific information about riding bikes in Switzerland. From the hotel, you'll start riding out of Lucerne and along the Reuss river, with amazing views of the Alps and the Swiss Plateau. This warm-up ride gives you a sneak peek at the incredible adventures that await you this week. You'll then pedal on rolling hills to the boat station in the town of Küssnacht. Enjoy a gourmet lunch by the lake before you board the boat for a scenic cruise back to town on Lake Lucerne. Walk from the boat station to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your afternoon before you get ready for social hour and dinner with your fellow travellers.

This morning, we'll bid farewell to our hotel and hop on a public train to Saanenmöser. After a scenic journey of approximately one hour and a half, we'll start our cycling adventure towards Gruyères, renowned for its world-famous cheese. Along the way, we'll make a stop in Gstaad, with its traditional chalet-style architecture, high-end boutiques, and gourmet restaurants. Gstaad's prestigious ski resorts attract visitors from across the globe. Get ready for a remarkable rollercoaster of a ride, with predominantly downhill stretches and occasional rolling hills, providing jaw-dropping vistas in every direction. Once entering the French-speaking Switzerland, we conclude our biking in Gruyères, where you'll have ample time to explore the town's captivating charms or do a self-guided visit of the cheese museum, La Maison du Gruyère. We'll then board a private shuttle for our final destination: Montreux. The evening is yours to enjoy the hotel amenities and discover this lively town. Your guides will be happy to assist you with their favorite dinner recommendations.

This morning, you can choose to sleep in and relax at the hotel or enjoy a final early morning easy spin along the shores of Lake Geneva. You will pass Château de Chillon, a magnificent 13th-century fortress, on the way to the Grangettes Reserve, a captivating natural sanctuary and haven for a wide range of plant and animal species. Say goodbye to your guides at the hotel at 10:30 AM as you board a private Trek Travel shuttle to Montreux train station where you can easily catch a train to Geneva and other destinations. Our trip has come to a conclusion; however, you may wish to arrange an extra night in Montreux, as the town has so much to offer.
