Activity Level: Level 2, Level 3
Terrain: Hilly
Our Switzerland Bike Tour showcases scenic terrain with a few rolling climbs. You’ll ride mostly on dedicated bike paths and low-traffic routes, winding through peaceful valleys and countryside. As you ride in and out of the town centers from our hotels, however, expect a couple of miles of urban cycling with some traffic and occasional sections where bike paths run alongside busier roads. On Day 3, we also ride a section of smooth gravel toward Lauterbrunnen. While no technical skills are required, some sections will test your legs—rewarded with beautiful landscapes along the way.
Our Switzerland Bike Tour is best suited for our Level 2 and Level 3 Riders. Level 4 Riders will enjoy the extra mileage and elevation that Avid options have to offer. Our Trek Travel guides can accommodate riders who seek less mileage with a boost in the van. For those eager to experience every mile but mindful of their physical limits, our electric bike option offers a comfortable and enjoyable solution.
