- Trek Retailers and Trek Employees: Bringing friends, family, or customers on a private trip is an excellent way to build community and enjoy a memorable experience together. However, please note a few important details regarding private trips: Guests on private trips are not eligible for the Trek Retailer or Trek Employee discount, and independent retailers cannot earn commissions for referring new guests to private trips. Private trips are also not eligible for any dealer group discounts.

Yes, travel companions sharing a room with you are eligible to receive the same discount as you.
Gratuities for your Trek Travel guides are not included in your trip price. Please see your trip page or our FAQ page for our recommended amounts which will be divided among the guide team.
- Reatilers and employees receive discounts off Trek Travel trips except Cross Country USA, Private/Custom, Special Edition, Self-Guided, and Race trips. All trips must be guaranteed before retailers can book using discount or redeeming points. Maximum 4 guests using retailer discount per trip date.

(Please note items not included in the price of the trip: airfare and transportation to and from the pick-up/drop-off locations; lodging before and after the trip; personal items purchased during the trip; optional activities not scheduled as part of the Trek Travel trip; on select trips some meals are not included but a list of local eatery options will be provided by your guides for you to explore on your own; gratuities for your Trek Travel guides.)
Some alcohol is included with meals and at the social hours as specified in your itinerary, however if you wish to have any additional alcohol please create a separate tab with the wait staff.

Independent Trek retailers earn 10% commission* for each new guest that they refer to Trek Travel.

Independent Trek retailers will receive their commission amount the month after their referred guest travels with us.
