We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly into Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) and then take a taxi to your hotel or Day 1 pickup hotel, Hotel Josef, Rybná 20, CZ - 110 00 Praha 1. A taxi from the airport will cost about 500 Czech Koruna ($30-$40). Alternatively, take the Cedaz airport shuttle to your hotel or Day 1 pickup hotel. Cedaz runs every 30 minutes from PRG. Cost is about 150 CZK ($8). www.Cedaz. CZ/About-Transport-Airport-Prague.php
At the end of your trip, a private shuttle will take you to Vienna South Train Station or Vienna Airport (VIE).
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at the Hotel Josef (Rybná 20, CZ - 110 00 Praha 1, Prague) at 9:00 AM on the first day of the trip. A private shuttle (approximately 2.5 hours) will take you to the medieval village of Ceský Krumlov and Hotel Bellevue, your home for the next two evenings. Make sure to pack your first day's riding gear in a separate bag.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. You will receive an email a week before the trip start with their names and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, Hotel Bellevue (+420 380 720 177), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details. You may decide to meet us in Ceský Krumlov, at the Hotel Bellevue. In that case, you will have to arrange your own transportation from Prague or your specific departure point to Ceský Krumlov. Regular bus service runs between the capital and Ceský Krumlov (about 3 ½ hours).View our pre hotel recommendations
You will say farewell to your guides at 11:00 AM at the Romantikhotel Richard Lowenherz. A private shuttle will take you to Wien Mitte Train Station in Vienna, arriving at approximately 12:00 PM. Please do not schedule departing trains prior to 3:00 PM.View our post hotel recommendations

Prague is a maze of narrow streets and small squares, with Baroque buildings and enchanting corners. It’s wonderful to get lost in it, but there are places that you really shouldn’t miss. The Church of Saint Nicholas, located in the Little Quarter, is one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in Europe - it is a sight to behold.A walk on Charles Bridge, with its 31 groups of statues, is a must-see as well. For those who have a passion for music, the Mozart Museum offers them the chance to see the place where the great composer lived when in Prague. We recommend the following accommodations for your pre-trip hotel:
Vienna has long been one of Europe’s most important artistic centers and is a Baroque delight. It maintains the grandeur of its past as longtime seat of the Habsburg rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Hofburg, winter residence of the Habsburgs, is a city within the city. The city's cathedral Stephansdom is a stunning building with a glittering roof and a mighty south tower, which symbolizes Vienna for many. The Opera House is another iconic building of Vienna and is an important stop during your visit of the city, especially for passionate music fans.
