Your Trek Travel guides will meet you at Restaurant De Bosbaan at 9:00 AM. Over a light snack, they'll introduce you to your Trek bike with a personalized fit to ensure your comfort for the week, then cover safety tips for riding in the Netherlands and a route overview. From there, the ride heads south through tranquil plassen (Dutch for "pools") reflecting the open sky and classic windmills punctuating the horizon, giving way to idyllic villages and lush surroundings. Lunch is at a cozy bistro near Zuylen Castle, a preserved 13th-century fortress. Afterward, a short walk brings you to a private tour inside a traditional windmill—an up-close look at the ingenious engineering behind one of the Netherlands' most iconic symbols. Following the tour, a one-hour shuttle brings you to Delft, your base for the next three nights, where the evening begins with a welcome social hour before we head out to our favorite restaurant for dinner.

From Keukenhof, the route heads south trading the crowds for open landscapes and quiet dune paths on the way back to Delft. The afternoon is yours to unwind, explore town, or settle into a café before we regroup for dinner at a local bistro.

After breakfast, a two-hour shuttle brings you to Breskens on the Dutch seaside, where you’ll begin your ride along scenic sand dunes before heading inland toward the distinguished city of Bruges. Along the way, pause in the charming village of Sluis to explore and enjoy lunch. From here, it's a short ride to the Belgian border, where you'll follow a canal path straight into the heart of Bruges. This capital of West Flanders is renowned for its unique medieval charm, cobbled streets, and picturesque canals. This evening, we’ll visit De Halve Maan, the oldest family-run brewery in the area, for a taste of their signature Brugse Zot beer—best enjoyed after climbing the brewery’s 220 steps! Tonight, dinner is on us, with your guides directing you to a carefully selected restaurant where you can dine at your preferred time.

After a leisurely breakfast at The Pand, set off on a scenic ride through the Belgian landscape, pedaling past rolling fields, storybook villages, and centuries-old castles. As you return to Bruges—often called the “Venice of the North”—its cobbled lanes, arched stone bridges, and shimmering canals invite you to slow down and soak it all in. Spend the afternoon exploring hidden courtyards, artisan shops, or world-class chocolate boutiques. Interested in military history? Your guides can help arrange a taxi to the nearby Atlantic Wall Museum—a powerful tribute to WWII coastal defenses. Tonight, gather for a final dinner in the heart of Bruges and raise a glass to an unforgettable week.

As all good things, our trip has come to a conclusion. Enjoy an early morning easy spin to the scenic villages of Moerkerke and Damme or choose to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. You’ll say your final farewell to your guides at The Pand Hotel at 11:45 AM. A private Trek Travel shuttle to Bruges Central Station will depart from the hotel at 12:00 PM noon. Please do not schedule a flight out of Brussels airport before 5:00 PM on the last day of the trip to allow plenty of time for any unforeseen delays.
