Discover Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia with an experience that will surprise you day by day. The Chilean Patagonia is home to some of the most impressive sights in the Southern Hemisphere and to some of the world’s most classic hiking routes encompassing ancient forests, glaciers, lakes, rivers and fjords, and fauna including guanacos, flamingos, condors, foxes and pumas. Our Patagonia experience in Torres del Paine has two daily hiking options – easy and active levels. The easy hiking options are not strenuous and can be enjoyed by anyone in reasonable physical condition. The active hikes are more challenging and involve up to 8 hours of hiking per day, often over difficult terrain. You can choose each night which option appeals to you the most for the following day, depending on how that day’s hike has left you feeling!

We suggest that you arrive at least one day prior to the trip start, which will enable you to adjust to the time zone (GMT -3) and minimize the risk of missing the trip start due to flight-related delays. We recommend that you fly into Temuco Airport/La Araucanía International Airport (ZCO). From the airport you may take an Uber to Pucon for about $100, but you must pre-book it before you board your flight from Santiago to ensure availability. You may also take a private shuttle for approximately $120 per vehicle or a shared shuttle ("compartido") for about $20 per person. The shared shuttle needs a minimum of 4 passengers. The drive takes about 90 minutes. Shuttle drivers do not expect tips, however, if you are satisfied with their service, a $10 tip would be a kind gesture.
Your Trek Travel guides will meet you in the main lobby of Hotel Antumalal in Pucon at 10:30 AM on the first day of the trip. After a welcome lunch and a bike fitting session, you'll be off on your first ride. Please come dressed ready to ride or have your first day’s riding gear handy and separate from your other luggage to facilitate the bike fitting and ride.
If you will be late for the pick-up or are going to miss it altogether, please inform your guides. You will receive an email a week before the trip start with their names and contact details. If you cannot reach them, please call our first hotel, Hotel Antumalal (+56 45 244 1011), and leave a message with your expected arrival time and contact details.View our pre hotel recommendations
You will say farewell to your guides at 12:00 PM at the Puerto Montt Airport. From here, there are regular connections to Santiago, where you can connect to your home airport. Please do not schedule a flight out before 1:30 PM on the last day of the trip to allow plenty of time for any unforeseen delays.View our post hotel recommendations
